THE BOOK ABOUT NOTHING

At the core i am a wife and then a scientist. As a scientist i did not just read about spiritual concepts, i turned my life into a test ground experimenting with energy, not just for fun, but for survival.

My parents were not rich but i did not come from the struggle. My parents and upbringing was very stable. And they also granted me more freedom than most of the other kids i knew. I read a story once of two yt guys who bought a random plane ticket to wherever and challenged each other to see who could make it home first with only one quarter to their name.

Maybe people who did not come from a struggle, create their own struggle and call them challenges or self-development

In any case, there were a few theories i wanted to test:

Ask and you shall receive. More

specifically, Matthew 6:28-29

“Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.”

It is basically saying to trust God to provide what you need instead of striving, stressing or worrying.

the only way i could test this for sure is if i gave up everything and see what happened. which is what i did

The bible also refers to seek first the kingdom of God. Luke 7:21 -

The kingdom of God is within

while i relied on God to take care of my basic needs spiritual work became my priority

my shift in consciousness began years earlier when i started to get deeper into metaphysics, quantum physics and black scholars like Bobby Hemmit. what i learned from my studies was:

Your external reality is a reflection of your internal state

Along the way of testing these theories i became ‘weirder and weirder’ but also even more tapped in to the spiritual plane.

Oftentimes i did not have what people consider the basic necessities in life such as money or my own place. no one could understand that i was relying on my vibrational frequency to align me with what was meant for me in that moment.

There would be times when i faced one or two days of hardship but after that a miracle would occur that would surpass anything i could have gotten with my own money. Like for instance connecting with people who ended up being some of my best friends for life.

Becoming more and more tapped into the spiritual plane is what caused my path to intersect with rapper Wale. This book is a brief snapshot of that time of my life and why i had the freedom and faith to explore that connection even tho it was unorthodox.

With that being said, The Book About Nothing is somewhat about me and Wale but it is mostly a guide you can use to navigate your own spiritual journey. No two paths are the same, but my hope is that reading this book will provide the key you need to unlock that next level of your consciousness

...it started out as an ordinary day, but then I ran into drake. again. this time was no different than the first. i started my morning by asking God to show and prove. if wale was meant for me, then make it be. neither of these times did i connect with wale. i did however need to take a bathroom break so i dipped into the webster on collins ave. they had nice stuff. i decided to stick around and pretend like i was shopping for bae. the sales clerk was very nice and invited me to check out the second floor. when i arrive, there is a gladiator-sized black man sitting on the sofa. other than that, the only other customer was drake. of course, drake would show up when there was a request for true love. i don't know exactly what I expected when I prayed that morning. probably nothing. definitely not to see drake. again the first time was at a clothing store on fairfax. this was one day after seeing a wale interview where he talked about going to the club with drake. i didn't know what to do but I knew I had to do something so i commanded the mob that was between us to part like the red sea. i needed a private audience. his entourage was trying hard to prevent this from happening. drake, always the gentleman, told them it was ok for me to come through. now face to face with the champagne poppi i ask if he can introduce me to wale. he says no. fast forward a full revolution around the sun and some change. me and drake back on the same wavelength. sharing space at a clothing boutique. earlier that day, i released a dance video promoting a fan website I made for wale. once we were on the elevator, i decided to tell drake about it. he chuckled at the name and .....
